As I've shared about over the last few months, I've been reluctant to explore climate interventions like solar radiation management. And while it's felt like a drag at times, I've been doing a lot of reading and speaking with experts to better understand. (I've also posted this update to LinkedIn and YouTube)
Here's my latest thinking. If we can buy time to scale carbon removal and decarbonization, that would be a big win. I agree with the outline from the recent opinion piece in the New York Times by Zeke Hausfather and David Keith.
