Where are you stuck in carbon removal at this moment? Write it down.
What’s it going to take to get through it? What are you resisting?
Are you getting stuck on looking good? On your reputation?
Or is there potentially real planetary harm if things go wrong?
Stake your reputation on how much carbon you’ve removed. Bring your focus back to the bigger picture. I spend a lot of time worrying about typos. And I still make them. Know what matters.
Like I wrote in April, it's go time. We have a lot of work to do this month. My last few emails have been on don't get distracted, and that you won't win by crapping on other carbon solutions. It's too early to get distracted with the trivial.
These are the questions I use to consult with startup founders. This line of questioning helps me understand how they're keeping themselves stuck. (Yes, you're likely stuck on something of your own creation.) Use these questions to get yourself unstuck and report back.

I'm on a mission to remove a billion tons of carbon dioxide by 2030. As part of that, I write a weekly newsletter of tangible actions to remove one billion tons of carbon dioxide by 2030.
The purpose of this newsletter is to accelerate carbon removal by speeding up connections, progress, and coordination. It's ideal for people working in carbon removal already or beginners who are excited to dive in and get my perspective. People curious about carbon removal are welcome to sign up and see what sticks.
