Now, we are excited to announce our upcoming Carbon Registry event. This event will focus on the certification and registration process for carbon removal credits.
I know the idea of a carbon registry can be a bit confusing, but it’s essential for startups looking to get paid for removing carbon from the air. A carbon registry is an organization that certifies and registers the removal of carbon from the atmosphere. Without certification and registration, you can’t make carbon removal credits that corporations and governments will buy.
At this event, we’ll be hearing from a panel of carbon registries (Puro, Patch) and a carbon removal startup founder that got their credits listed (Planboo). You’ll hear insights into the methodology development and certification process from the people doing it.
