AirMiners Boot Up has its first academic study published!
I spoke with Felix Doerpmund, a PhD researcher at LMU Munich, about his year-and-a-half study surveying AirMiners Boot Up participants. Across more than 300 participants, attitudes toward carbon removal became more positive overall, especially for less known approaches like biochar and enhanced rock weathering, while views also grew more nuanced. Importantly, learning about carbon removal did not reduce support for climate mitigation policies.
Felix and I had a quick interview you can watch on LinkedIn and YouTube.
