Hi,

First off, our next El Niño Ready event with Zeke Hausfather and Beth Hartman is tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET: Register here

I was really inspired by our last El Nino Ready session, and I wanted to share back just what happened. (Video on YouTube and LinkedIn)

Our AirMiners community is working on a bunch of different initiatives to avert the worst impacts of El Nino and start a new wave of action on reversing climate change:

• Debra shared that she got a "how to be emergency prepared" calendar in January but had only done the first month -- so she's organizing working sessions for other people to co-work and get their own El Niño prep ready!
• Angus showed us that the worst impacts of El Niño are predicted to hit people in the global south. After the floods and drought, the secondary effects, the famine, the dengue fever spreading after the big flood. Angus is creating El Niño action events to have people from all over the world be able to contribute to averting those impacts in the global south.
• I'm so inspired by this community and people's willingness to share an idea and take an action. Even the El Niño Ready song with the Bill Nye the Science Guy singalong! That came from Marc unmuting during one of our events and saying, "Hey, you know, I've got this random idea. El Nino means the boy. What if we had boys' choirs sing about El Niño"?

Get your name in the credits for the song by joining the crowdfunding campaign here. We're raising the funds to get the El Niño Ready song on Spotify and distributed worldwide!

If you want to be a part of the El Niño coworking sessions with Debra or those El Niño action events for the global south with Angus, hit reply.

Look forward to seeing you at the session with Zeke and Beth tomorrow!
