Jump in, you’ll get out more than what you put in

This week I sat down with Jack Sullivan founder of carbon removal company Red Carbon. I brought Jack in because with carbon removal at a turning point, we need to figure out how to embrace our own super powers and recognize the superpowers of others to collaborate.  Jack is great at this, I often hear from other AirMiners about how Jack helped them with an idea or helped make a connection. So I wanted to see what advice and experience he would have to share.

• Figure out what your superpower is, get really good at it
• Then figure out how your superpower fits in with other people's superpowers.
• We need to build an entire system. In that way it's a good thing we don't all have the same superpower!
• Silos are comfortable, get uncomfortable. Step back and broaden your lens.
• Get on AirMiners to have conversations you can't find anywhere else.
• Share experience and experience, get back different perspectives, ideas you would never have come up with
• Systemic thinking and narrow focus are essential. Doing both is hard but necessary.

Creating a gigaton scale carbon removal means we need to tap into many different perspectives and experiences. What can you learn about carbon removal from someone who is from another generation, and what experience can you share with them?
