At SF Climate Week, former U.S. Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Al Gore called direct air capture machines "ridiculously expensive and hilariously impractical giant mechanical vacuum machines".
Given his reputation in the climate world, this can and does hurt innovation in all forms of carbon removal.
It's possible he's misinformed about carbon removal. So I have a response I want to get to him, and I need your help to make that happen.
