At Town Hall #2 we're sharing updates on the Kiloton Fund, AirMiners Launchpad, Boot Up, and how how things are going towards our mission of a billion tons removed by 2030.
With 2,228 AirMiners members I want to make sure everyone knows what's happening. We're adding 15 minutes for Q&A since last time there wasn't much time for feedback or questions.
Also we got feedback about the breakout rooms that people really loved connecting with others but the timing was rushed and some rooms only had one person. So we're gonna have three people matched to each breakout room instead of two and have one longer breakout instead of two shorter ones. I liked the impact of those breakouts. For example, Niklas from InPlanet shared that he was looking for a tax accountant for his startup... and by the end of the Town Hall he had found one. Boom! This is a taste of what goes on at our Ideas, Needs, and Leads session (next one is July 20th, AirMiners members sign up here or check the #events channel). It's a really good opportunity to get in front of a bunch of AirMiners and improve your chances of success.
Back in April we hosted our first Town Hall. The goal then was to get 21 new buyers registered for Buyer's Demo Day. The community sprung into action, we had 24 buyers attend, 13 that were new including H&M, Kickstarter, and Autodesk. Recap is here. Let's go!
To stay on track for our goal of a billion tons removed by 2030, our next milestone is we need 30 teams for the next batch of Launchpad. Applications are open until August 11 (apply here). At Town Hall #2 we'll share ideas for what's needed and how you can help.
Town Hall is this Wednesday, register here.
