Do we need carbon removal? What’s your evidence?

August 22, 2023

Last week I shared about starting conversations with “do you think we need carbon removal for a stable climate?”. This got me thinking about evidence. One AirMiner sent me a chart they use in presentations, similar to the chart I use here.

What’s your evidence that we need carbon removal for a stable climate?

Do you have data points, charts, a qualitative or non-technical approach that you share? And when you share it, what kind of response do you get?

I want to collect the best examples the AirMiners community uses to talk about carbon removal. Slides, data points, paragraphs, stories, articles.

I’ll share back the best examples so we can all have more effective conversations (and I'll share examples anonymously if you prefer).

Hit reply and show me what you got.

Tito

P.S. and yes I want to see the weird stuff that you reference for yourself but maybe don’t share with others.
